Important:
- Since this is a test / beta firmware, users may experience issues or bugs while using this firmware. Please be aware that you can revert to the previous official firmware at any time.
- Instructions for how to do so can be found in the "REVERTING FROM BETA FIRMWARE" section at the end of this page.
- This update will require you to recalibrate your controller.
- Your onboard hardware profiles will be reset to the default. After the update, you can restore your custom profiles by going to your saved profiles in iCUE or remap Envision manually with the profile button. Reverting from the BETA firmware
Download
You can download the latest firmware here: Envision Firmware.
- Download the appropriate Envision beta firmware package and save it to a place on your computer that you can easily navigate to.
- If you have a wireless model, download the beta firmware for “Envision PRO”
- If you have a wired only model, download the beta firmware for “Envision” (without the word “PRO” at the end).
- Once downloaded and saved, plug your controller into your PC and open iCUE.
- Once in iCUE, click on the Envision image to open the Envision module.
- Next, click the cog on the top right of the side bar to open Envision's device settings.
- Select "Check for Updates". You will need to be running the latest Firmware to allow the option to manually install a firmware package to appear.
- Select the three dots under the "Close" button and then choose "Browse for Firmware".
- Navigate to where you saved the new Envision firmware package and double click the appropriate package. Please remember to use the appropriate firmware based on the Envision model you are using.
- Use the firmware that says ENVISIONPRO for the wireless model.
- Use the firmware that says ENVISION for the wired only model.
- Once the appropriate firmware has been selected, click “Update Now”.
- Ensure that you acknowledge the notification and quit out of any programs that are controller your PC. Once you are ready, select “Got It!”.
- Allow the update to run. This may take a small amount of time. Please do not unplug your controller or restart the software during the update process.
- Once complete, your controller has now been updated with the beta firmware.
Now that the beta firmware has been installed, please calibrate your thumbsticks and triggers.
Reverting from the BETA firmware
If you have downloaded a beta version of the firmware and need to revert to the official firmware, please follow these instructions to do so:
- Start by plugging in your controller to your PC.
- If you have an Envision Pro controller, ensure that it is in wired mode
- Open iCUE.
- Once in iCUE, click on the Envision image to open the Envision module.
- Next, click the cog on the top right of the side bar to open Envision's device settings.
- Select "Check for Updates".
- Select the three dots under the "Close" button and then choose "Force Update".
- Ensure that you acknowledge the notification and quit out of any programs that are controller your PC. Once you are ready, select “Got It!”
- Allow the update to run. This may take a small amount of time.Please do not unplug your controller or restart the software during the update process.
- Once complete, your controller now has been updated with the latest official firmware.
Please note: You do not have to calibrate your thumbsticks and triggers when reverting to the 0.23.121 firmware.
