We know how exciting it is to get your hands on your SCUF controller—so if your order’s taking longer than expected, we want to help you understand why.
Below are the most common reasons for delays and what you can do.
🔧 1. Custom Build Time
Many SCUF controllers are made-to-order with custom parts and features. This means:
- Controllers go through individual assembly and quality checks
- Production may take a few extra days, especially during sales or new product launches
📦 2. High Order Volume
We sometimes experience delays due to:
- Holiday season or major promotions
- Product launches or restocks
- Unexpected spikes in demand
Orders are processed in the order they’re received—but we promise, we're working hard to get yours out the door.
🔍 3. Payment or Verification Issues
Delays can occur if:
- Your payment didn’t go through right away
- The billing or shipping info couldn’t be verified
- There's a mismatch or hold placed by your payment provider
Double-check your inbox (and spam folder) in case we reached out about a payment issue.
🚚 4. Carrier or Shipping Delays
After your order leaves our facility, it’s in the hands of the shipping carrier.
Delays can happen due to:
- Weather disruptions
- Transit backlogs or customs holds (especially for international orders)
- Missed scans or rerouting
🌍 5. International Shipping or Customs
If you're outside the U.S., your order may be delayed by:
- Country-specific import/customs processes
- Local carrier hand-offs or scanning delays
These steps can take several additional days and may not always be reflected in tracking right away.
