How to: Correct a stiff touchpad on SCUF Impact

To correct a SCUF IMPACT touchpad that is stiff or auto-engaging, perform the following troubleshooting steps. 

  1. Take both of your thumbs and push down on the bottom of the touchpad.
  2. While still pushing down, gently slide your thumbs toward the top of the touchpad. You might hear a clicking noise as the touchpad lock into place.
  3. Repeat this process two or three times to make sure the touchpad is fully secured.
  4. Press the touchpad up and down multiple times to make sure activation is smooth.
