FAQ - My SCUF Vantage controller randomly shuts off, what can I do?

A number of reasons can cause any controller to randomly shut off. Please see below for troubleshooting tips.

If you are playing with a SCUF Vantage Wireless/Wired model in Wireless mode (Bluetooth), please check that your controller is correctly paired and that the controller battery is charged.

 

If you are playing with a SCUF Vantage Wired model or a Wireless/Wired model in Wired mode (USB):

Step 1: Please check that you are using the provided High Speed Braided Micro-USB Cable.

Step 2: Please check that the cable is correctly connected to your controller’s Micro-USB port and a USB-A port on your PlayStation® 4 system.

Step 3: Inspect the cable for any damage.

If the problem persists, please try to reset your controller.
