When in wireless mode, SCUF Vantage 2 controllers communicate with PS4™ systems in Bluetooth. Through Bluetooth, the Vantage controller can turn on the console remotely, however, audio cannot be transmitted to the controller. On the other hand, the Wired mode of the Vantage is a fully wired connection, over USB, in order to provide the fastest connectivity. There are many ways to obtain audio when using your controller in wireless, such as using an audio mixer, a USB or wireless headset.
Please refer to the chart below to figure out the right Vantage model for you based on your setup.

If you are using your hardware according to the compatibility table above:
When your controller is in Wired mode with the Wired/Wireless switch toggled to the left, and your headset is properly plugged into the controller’s 3.5mm jack port (and not into an external amp), please check your audio settings to ensure audio is coming through the headset using the steps below:
Step 1: Hold the PS button and select Sound Devices on the pop-up menu.
Step 2: Ensure that All Audio is selected via the audio output setting.
Note: Game audio will not come through your headset if “Chat Audio” is selected.
If you’re using an audio mixer amp (which your headset connects into rather than the controller) and sound is not going through the headset please do the following troubleshooting:
Step 1: Turn off the audio amp and turn it back on.
Step 2: You will be prompted by the PS4™ to select a profile.
Step 3: Select the profile you’re currently using and audio should come through the headset again.
