The SCUF Vantage Wireless and Wired model uses Bluetooth to connect wirelessly to your PS4™ console when the Wired/Wireless switch is to the right (Wireless mode). Any Bluetooth connectivity can be subject to interference from other devices and other factors, such as distance between devices. If you experience any connection problems, players should eliminate potential sources of interference to improve the connection. For example, try moving or shutting down any wireless devices nearby.
If you are experiencing issues, be sure to slide the Wireless/Wired switch on your SCUF Vantage to the right (Wireless mode). Once your controller is in Wireless mode, please ensure that the controller is correctly paired to the PS4™ console and fully charged to have optimal connectivity strength and even consider restarting the PS4™ with a full power down, not just Rest Mode.
If you are having trouble pairing your SCUF Vantage, please note that it will show up as “SCUF Controller” under Bluetooth devices in the PS4™ settings even when the controller is not in Pairing Mode. This mode is entered by pressing simultaneously the Share & PS buttons until the controller light starts flashing. If you try to pair the SCUF Vantage without entering the Pairing Mode first, the connection to the PS4™ will fail. Please ensure the pairing mode is activated first.
In the rare cases where the SCUF Vantage or another Bluetooth device is in Pairing Mode and that the device does not show up in the Bluetooth device list, or is not able to connect, please perform a full restart of your PS4.
